Left 4 Dead 2 is a 2009 multiplayer survival horror video game developed and published by Valve as the sequel to Left 4 Dead (1). Left 4 Dead 2 features cooperative gameplay and Valve's proprietary Source engine. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the game focuses on four new survivors who fight against hordes of highly aggressive zombies known as the Infected.
