Savage XR is a unique, free-to-play MMO-style RTS/FPS hybrid game for Windows, Linux, and Mac. Savage XR is the successor to the 2003 award-winning PC game Savage: The Battle for Newerth. Each match takes place on one of over 2,000 available maps. A single match involves two or more teams, either human or beast. The goal of the game is to destroy the primary enemy's structures. Each team has a commander who plays the game like an RTS, while the other players play the game like an FPS (but in third-person mode during melee combat). A game can last between 2 and 45 minutes.
