Sons of the Forest is a survival video game developed by Endnight Games and published by Newnight, and was released as an Early Access title on February 23, 2023. Like The Forest, Sons of the Forest puts the player in control of a protagonist stranded on an island inhabited by cannibals, building weapons and structures to survive. The game also features several new mechanics, such as 3D printing, and friendly NPCs. Both friendly and hostile NPCs are animated by artificial intelligence.
